Mom Life: Fueled By Coffee and Chaos

Let's be real, being a mom/this whole motherhood thing/the joys of being a parent is a whirlwind/rollercoaster/beautiful mess. One minute you're teaching/playing with your little explorers/humans/creations, the next you're chasing after them like they're on an epic escape mission. Between laundry/school lunches/dance recitals and trying to find matching socks in a sea of chaos, it's easy/sometimes impossible/a constant struggle to keep up. But amidst all the organized//utter chaos, there's one thing that keeps us going: coffee. That magical beverage/drink/potion that makes everything a little more bearable/tolerable/slightly less stressful. Seriously, coffee is our lifeblood.

You ought to watch out when a mama is feeling defensive. That's right, her little cubs are loved, and she won't think twice to safeguard them. If you bother her pride, prepare for a powerful battle. This isn't the time to be foolish. Better scramble while you still can.

Breeding Dragons Doesn't Come With A Manual

Let's be frank, raising a dragon isn't like teaching your typical house pet. There are no specialists who completely grasp the intricacies of their unique biology, and forget about finding a instruction sheet that covers everything from burping fireballs to inter-species communication. You're on your own, keeper, and the only framework is trial and error.

Sorry What I Said When I Was Hangry

We've all been there. Your stomach is growling louder than a bear in a national park/the wilderness/my living room, and you're feeling more cranky/irritable/grumpy than usual. Then, bam! You snap at someone over something completely stupid.

Later on/Down the road/Eventually, when your blood sugar levels have stabilized/returned to normal/are no longer making me crazy, you realize just how out of line/unreasonable/mean your behavior was. It's a good thing/Luckily/Thankfully, there are ways to avoid letting hangry take over.

First, listen to/pay attention to/be aware of your body's cues. If you're feeling hungry/thirsty/like you need a snack, don't ignore it! Grab a healthysnack/bite/meal/treat/piece of chocolate. And if you find yourself getting angry/frustrated/irritated, take a few deep breaths and try to calm down/relax/chill out before saying anything you might regret.

It takes time to learn to manage hangry, but it's definitely worth it. After all, no one wants to be the person who ruins a perfectly good day/causes drama/becomes known as "hangry".

Being a parent is seriously awesome, but sometimes you just need a bit of vino. Let's be honest, those tiny humans are sweet, and they completely drain your energy. After a long mom shirt day of playing, a glass of red can be just the thing you need to unwind. It's not about being a bad parent, it's about self-care!
